MJ Motors is located in Burntwood and provides vehicle repairs, servicing and MOT services to the local area which includes; Lichfield, Burntwood, Chase Terrace, Chasetown, Brownhills, Great Wyrley, Norton Canes, Pelsall, Cannock, Heath Hayes, Rugeley, Chorley, Gentleshaw, Rawnsley, Hammerwich, Walsall Wood. We cover most of South Staffordshire and parts of the West Midlands. If you are located further away then we would be more than happy to help - just give us a call.

MJ Motors are a family run business who started way back in 1986. We have a wealth of knowledge and experience - we always go the extra mile and we really do care about you and your vehicle.

We are a class 4 MOT testing station; we test all types of cars, small vans, people carriers and campervans. We have 4 permanent on-site testers and we are the only one-man testing facility in the area.

Repairs and Diagnostics

We have been repairing cars since 1986, from old classics through to modern day cars where a full electronic diagnostics suite is required. We have a wealth of knowledge and experience – there isn’t much we have not seen or worked on. Unique in the area we offer full engine rebuilds, welding and full electronic diagnostics.

What we do

MJ Motors service, MOT and repair cars, vans and light vehicles - no job is too big for our experienced team. We are pretty much the only garage in the area to offer full engine rebuilds, welding and diagnostic fault finding for all manufacturers.

If you have a problem with your car and cannot get it to us we offer a full recovery service. Additionally we we offer a local drop-off service so that you can get your car to us and get home - call us for further details.

7am start - we open early! We do this so that you can drop your vehicle off with us and still have time to get to work using alternative transport. You can also drop-off or collect your car up to 6pm in the evening Monday to Friday, which gives you a little more time to make convenient arrangements.

Our Team

Over the years we have expanded into a sizeable team of qualified and diligent people. Each member of staff have their own unique ability and contribute as a whole to our team, which means you can be confident that your vehicle is in safe hands. On-site our permanent staff include fully qualified mechanics and technicians who have been with the business either from college or have joined and remained loyal to us.

We take up to three young keen work experience people per year and they get the full treatment, they are not in to make cups of tea we actually take them through everything we do and how we do it.

Our Facilities

Our facilities include a full MOT station/ centre with 4 permanent on-site MOT testers who can test vehicles up to Class 4. We are the only MOT station in the area who can perform one-man testing, which means we have capacity to test more vehicles per day. MJ Motors are happy to test general cars, small vans, people carriers and campervans - please get in touch if we have not listed your vehicle we may be able to help.

We have three mechanical bays with hydraulic lifts and one technical bay without - we have up to 32 working hours per day capacity.
